It is my personal belief that dancing should be as much ( if not more )
a part of rejoicing in the grace of God as it is a part of our dance
when many of us get worked up about a favorite sports team.
There is plenty of scripture to back this up including stories of King David
dancing in the public streets in his underwear. I doubt he really thought
much about it as he likely danced regularly before the Lord in more
private settings as I do. In any case why there is controvercy
surrounding dance in the buildings we call churches is beyond me.
I often dance inside my heart but feel suppressed to express it outwardly
to others in public. This page is my way of encouraging those who are
perhaps more courageous than I in this type of expression of joy inspired
by our common faith in our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus. It is wrong
to suppress or oppress our emotions with concern to the bounty
of that which was, and is, and is to come in terms of Gods eternal
Kingdom of which we may all be a part through Christ Jesus alone.
