• How does a Christian put God first in all things and in all ways in their daily occupation?
  Scriptural reference: Matthew 6:33, Mark 12:30, Act 7:55-60. Surely one need not become a Priest, Pastor, Minister, or other job title or description befitting of some holy convocation to adhere to this religious practice. Paul earned a living as a tent maker much of the time as he continued on his quest to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and minister to millions in his travel. In fact had he only conceded to the religious belief systems that he was well learned in as a Jew he could have enjoyed a life much more pleasing to the desires of his flesh than he did in following God by his faith in Christ Jesus. The point here is that the Bible never implied that walking the walk that God has for us would be easy. He only promises that in the end that it will be well worth it. The peace and strength that God promises us goes beyond the understanding of those who are not oriented to the Word of God but only derive understanding from their worldy experiences. May the blind see and may those who have an ear let them hear...In Christ Jesus name I pray Amen.
